Who can join and how
to apply for membership

Membership of the Consortium, in order to participate in the Circuits and for licensing of the Trademarks, may also be requested by the Parent of a banking group, in which case all the entities belonging to the reference banking group that provide payment and payment card issuing services also become members. However, they do not acquire the formal status of Consortium member and do not, therefore, have the right to vote at Meetings. Cooperative credit banks may join the Consortium also through admission of the Central Institute (Iccrea Banca s.p.a.) or Federasse.

Admission to membership of the Consortium is resolved by the Board after verifying compliance with the requirements established by the Bylaws.

The membership application must be sent to the President of the Consortium together with the request for licence to use the Trademarks and, in addition to the precise name of the applicant, must specify the personal particulars of the applicant’s legal representative and activity carried out, a declaration that the applicant is informed of and accepts the provisions of the Bylaws and the rules, also technical, that regulate Consortium functions and services, and also the resolutions of the Governing Bodies of the Consortium.

If requested, Consortium members are obliged to carry out their activity on behalf of the Consortium in order to promote achievement of its objects.

The status of Consortium member is forfeited in the case or recess or exclusioni.
